FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
As you begin to get ready for the sale, you may have questions or concerns about the procedures. Please contact us via phone or email to answer and address questions/concerns! There's a big chance that others have the same questions as you! Below are some answers to questions we hear quite often (even some answers to questions we had in the past):
1. Where do I place the tags on my items?
Generally, the tags for clothing go on the left chest area of the garment (over the heart). All hangers should look like a "question mark" if looking at the front of the clothing. For bigger items, use clear packing tape to attach tags (or zip-ties). Be sure that shoes stay together--either in ziploc bags or with zip-ties. Be sure the barcode is not covered when you tape a tag to an item (this makes it hard to scan).
2. How and when do I get paid for my items that sell?
This is the most exciting part of the sale! You MUST come by the building on Sunday, March 17, 2019 (the day after the sale) to pick-up any unsold items, unless you are donating them to FOSTERING BULLOCH. CHECKS WILL BE MAILED WITHIN 2 WEEKS of the sale.
3. Can I shop early?
Of course! That is, IF you become a consignor! You must sell at least 15 items in order to shop the presale. The presale is the sale on TUESDAY, March 12th, at 6 PM for consignors who also volunteer and at 7 PM for consignors OR volunteers. Remember, you will have a MUCH better selection to choose from--and you won't have to fight the crowds--if you sell 15 items (or more) at the sale! REGISTER NOW and you can tag anytime before Monday, March 11, 2019!
4. Can I bring my child/children to the sale?
No children are allowed at the PRESALE.
While we hate for ANYONE to not shop, because they have no one to watch their children, we also want to stress how hard it is to shop with your children at the sale. Most people shop with laundry baskets, and the venue will be very crowded when it is opened to the public at 8:00 AM. If you have to bring your child, be sure to keep them from playing with the toys that someone may want to buy. You will enjoy shopping much more without children, but we understand either way.
