Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging when I moved to London and became interested in the music business. My first blog was in fact a music blog (something which I am about to start up again) and then fuelled by my love of writing, food and travel I came up with Lolita Bonita, which allowed me to get more personal!

What does Blogging mean to you?

It's just a perfect creative outlet for me - it's something I enjoy doing outside my hectic life and brings me peace. I have also made some incredible friends through blogging like the fantastic Claire over at https://clairelouiisexo.co.uk/ who is going to be a friend for life! The opportunities it gives you and the people that you meet really makes blogging an incredible experience.

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging after becoming addicted to reading blogs online, and becoming more and more obsessed with beauty products. I wanted to share my own thoughts with the world with other like minded individuals. The Violet Blonde has grown into a beauty and lifestyle blog, and it's something I've grown incredibly proud of and passionate for, especially since February this year, now that I've had more time to concentrate on my blog after changing jobs.
What does Blogging mean to you?

Blogging means a lot to me, it has allowed me to share my thoughts and parts of my life in my own way. The comment and support there is in the blogging community astounds me every day and makes me love blogging even more. It has sparked much more of an interest in photography than ever before. I love taking way too many pictures, whether it's for my blog or from my every day life. Blogging allows me to be creative in a way I didn't realise was possible, it's something that I can't see myself ever stopping loving.

Why did you start blogging?

I've loved to write from a very young age, through primary school I enjoyed writing stories and through secondary school and beyond I've kept diaries and enjoyed journaling. I've wanted to start a blog for many years but just haven't had the confidence, until recently, to put it live and out there! Back then it would have been more beauty related, I'm a professional beauty therapist and love all things beauty however since having my little girl I've developed a love for photography and documenting our adventures as well as our day to day and all things parenting. I love that in years to come we'll be able to look back on those milestones, adventures and memories and that's a wonderful thought, I just wish I started sooner. I also blog about my experience living with an anxiety disorder, I'm very passionate about raising mental health awareness and if sharing my experiences helps in even just a teeny tiny little way it's worth it.

What does blogging mean to you?

Blogging has become more than just a hobby, it helps me greatly when I'm going through a tough time with anxiety. I was diagnosed with G.A.D (Generalised anxiety disorder) in my late teens after struggling for years not really understanding what was wrong. I've always found writing very therapeutic however found it hard to share my struggles with mental health. I found a great deal of comfort through online communities during those darker times and have discovered many amazing bloggers that inspired me greatly to start up my blog. My Little Brushneen Blog is a family, parenting and lifestyle blog but I also write about my difficulties with living with an anxiety disorder as I hope that in some way it may help others because it helped me greatly to know that I wasn't alone. My family our my world, blogging is like my therapy and I'm very passionate about raising mental health awareness so blogging does mean a great deal to me.
