#WhyIStartedBlogging

Hello Lovely people, This post marks the first in our new series called #WhyIstartedblogging which will feature three different bloggers each time.

This week we have Tiffany, Jodie and Laura. We hope you enjoy reading this because we sure did, We love to read about other bloggers, finding out what blogging means to them.

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because I had just made the decision to leave uni and I wasn't sure what I wanted to do next. I was applying for jobs but getting nowhere, I didn't have many people to talk to about it all and I was just a bit bored so I thought about starting a blog. I had no idea what I was doing at first and my blog looked awful but I thought I would just stick at it and see what happened! I had no idea how much enjoyment I would get out of writing each day and I never knew I had so many things I wanted to talk about, I'm so glad I started blogging and have all of my posts to look back on one day.

What does Blogging mean to you?

Blogging means so many things to me. It's given me something to do every day, it takes my mind off my anxiety and allows me to interact with so many lovely people! I've had some really supportive messages on some of my more personal posts and with things like my anxiety, it's been nice to know I'm not alone. I really don't know what I'd be doing now if I'd not started my blog a few years ago, I'm so proud of it.

Why did you start blogging?

I've always have a huge love for writing and a love for travel. A few months after going on a road trip across the US West Coast, I realised that I never wrote in my travel journal. I suddenly had the urge to write about all my adventures and that's when I caught the writing bug again. Halfway through filling up this journal, I thought "I should actually do something with this" and then Going Places and Doing Stuff was born!

What does Blogging mean to you?

Blogging is my own tiny part of the world where I can be unapologetically me. A place I can have a lil chat to like minded people, people that actually GET IT. Not like the people you have from school on your Facebook that tear you down at every opportunity. This is a place where you'll have constant support, advice, love and I bloody love it. It's given me a new lease of life for my writing and my photography and given me the confidence to pursue new things and talk to new people.
