Why did you start blogging?

Well, I've already sort of answered this question in a post over on my blog, which you're welcome to read the full answer to there. But I’ve always tried to be as creative as I can, with dance, I love choreographing routines to different songs and trying to create some kind of story to tell through this. My blog acts as an online notebook, a published journal, just somewhere other than my phone’s notes app that I can write about topics that I want to discuss. Not just having them as a thought in my head. I had some inspiration from a friend who also has a blog Kellie Nee! She was so helpful and inspirational with me getting my blog up and running! Always nice to have someone there when starting a new journey!

What does Blogging mean to you?

Blogging is so much more than writing a post, sticking some pictures in and clicking publish. I've only been blogging for 2 months now but already I've learnt so much and got to know some incredible people through the blogging community, I can't believe how supportive and positive it is, as soon as I open my twitter feed. Blogging to me is such a nice way of presenting your thoughts in an online notebook, or 'internet journal', to me I like to write about whatever I want, I don't tend to stick to one niche as I feel I'll end up getting bored quite quickly and would also like to relate to as many people as possible when posting. Every post I publish, I do it because I like the post and I want others to see it, if I didn't, I wouldn't publish it. Blogging to me is freedom to write about whatever, whenever and can be read by whoever, I love it and can't wait for this amazing journey of learning, writing and publishing to continue.

Why did You start blogging?

I started blogging in January 2016 out of my desire to create a platform to inspire, motivate and empower young people to achieve their goals and become the best version of themselves. What initially drove me to create this platform (mottyinspires.com) was a quote which I read which said "I want to inspire people. I want someone to look at me and say because of you, I didn't give up.' When I read this quote, it summed up my mission in life. I've also had the desire to work and counsel other young folks. I believe what we need in today's world is to support and encourage other young people to dream big and walk in our purpose without setting any limits. I also wanted to build a community of ambitious and driven millennials determined to rise and succeed in their purpose.

What does blogging mean to you?

Blogging is being able to share my story, my experiences, my mistakes, highs and lows with the hope that it inspires someone to keep pushing forward and take that step of faith to achieve whatever they want. It is very therapeutic for me, I am on this journey called LIFE and I have my good and bad days but being and having a channel to help and motivate some young person in some part in the world is truly amazing.

Why did You start blogging?

One night I was watching The Bachelor (don't judge!) anyways I started jotting down my thoughts on this show and flicked it off to a website I enjoy reading articles in .A few weeks later I get an email saying they had published it,I was over the moon! After this I started writing for a couple of other sites and then set my blog up. I am still building it up along with working full time and studying part -time,just goes to show anything is possible if you give it a go.

What does blogging mean to you?

Blogging is something that I work on as a hobby. I started writing for fun then kept going when I had some positive feedback. It's amazing how satisfied you feel after finishing a piece.

Another great thing about blogging is giving others the chance to get involved wether it's funny dating stories or guest bloggers having another platform to share their thoughts. Joining blogging communities has also opened a new avenue of opportunities by sharing advice and motivation.

Blogging makes me happy and on a weekend I enjoy getting my fave IKEA mug filled to the brim with coffee with a pen and notebook in my hand to start creating the next lot of ramblings from TheVintageVik.
